Where is the promise of His coming?

One of the last prophetic warnings given to us by Shimon Képha (in English ‘Simon Peter’) is a caution to be on guard about cynicism at the End of the Age. The context he describes here is the Last Days – the period just before Messiah Yeshua returns:

  • “Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation’” (2 Peter 3:3-4)

Today the media screens of the world are alive with the sound of mockers. Everywhere one turns, one is confronted with scoffers – who scorn biblical values, monogamous families and sexual purity; who present jihadi Islam as a viable alternative while vilifying the God of the Bible and His Chosen People Israel. Flash-in-the-pan talking heads like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens pour out a steady stream of ridicule against Jacob. Anti-Semitism is increasing across the globe, and these pundits of poison are demonized catalysts and enablers of this process. The birth pangs of Messiah are upon us.

In December 2025 the AMFEST (AmericaFest) held its four-day annual convention at the Phoenix Convention Center, hosted by Turning Point USA, a conservative youth organization. It featured prominent Republican speakers, media personalities, and political figures – big names from conservative streams like Make America Great Again, including Vice President JD Vance (the keynote speaker on Sunday December 21, 2025) and Erika Kirk (who was headlining the event). The convention focuses on conservative policy, culture, and future political strategies. Its motto is “Faith, freedom and American values.”

One of the prominent speakers was US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. She spoke cogently about Islamism as a significant threat to Western society in general, and to American society in particular:

  • “The threats from this Islamist ideology come in many forms. As we approach Christmas, right now in Germany they are canceling Christmas markets because of this threat. . . When we talk about the threat of Islamism, this political ideology, there is no such thing as individual freedom or liberty. As Charlie [Kirk] said over and over again, it is fundamentally incompatible with our nation's foundation of freedom.”

Naming names in the anti-Semitic pantheon

Ben Shapiro is an American conservative political commentator, media host, and attorney. He is editor emeritus for The Daily Wire, which he co-founded in 2015, and also hosts The Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio show. Shapiro was asked to deliver a speech on December 19, 2025 at the TPUSA AmFest conference. His courageous address focused on the threat to the Republican conservative movement coming from influential right-wing anti-Semitic commentators like Carlson and Owens:

  • “Today the conservative movement is in serious danger . . . from charlatans who claim to speak in the name of principle but actually traffic in conspiracism and dishonesty, who offer nothing but bile and despair, who seek to undermine fundamental principles of conservatism by championing aggravation and grievance. These people are frauds, and they are grifters, and they do not deserve your time.”

Shapiro specifically targeted Tucker Carlson for giving a generous platform to white nationalist, anti-Semitic and pro-Hitler Nick Fuentes:

  • “If you post a Hitler apologist, Nazi-loving, anti-American piece of refuse like Nick Fuentes – you know, the person who said the Vice President of the United States is a fat, gay race traitor married to a [derogatory term] – he said Charlie Kirk was retarded – if you host such a person on your show and you agree with him, you ought to own it. Tucker Carlson platformed Nick Fuentes and ought to take responsibility. Hosts are responsible for the guests they choose and the questions they ask those guests”

The night before, on December 18, 2025, Shapiro addressed the Heritage Foundation, a leading American right-wing think tank, accusing Tucker Carlson of repeatedly advancing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Shapiro cited Carlson’s constant criticism of Israel, his suggestion of “nefarious Israeli influence in American government,” and his hostility toward Christian Zionists. Shapiro also panned Carlson for frequently platforming figures with extremist or anti-Semitic records, including;

  • Nick Fuentes (whom he described as “America’s foremost Hitler apologist”)

“None of this comports with traditional American values,” Shapiro declared. This moment is a test of the conservative movement’s credibility: “Conservatism means something. And if we refuse to stand for it and defend it, it will disappear.”

Which anti-Semite is the ‘Anti-Semite of the Year’?

An American watchdog organization www.stopantisemitism.org “holds antisemites accountable and creates consequences for their bigoted actions by exposing the threat that they present.” They present a yearly ‘award’ – ‘Anti-Semite of the Year’ – “a distinct dishonor is reserved for the most bigoted and hateful individual” who has fostered anti-Jewish attacks over the past calendar year. Previous ‘winners’ have included US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (2019); campus pro-Hamas activist Nerdeen Kiswani (2020); Chairman of the Board of Directors for Ben & Jerry’s Anuradha Mittal (2021);  rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West (2022); US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (2023); podcaster Candace Owens (2024 and here); and podcaster Tucker Carlson (2025).

Carlson, this year’s recipient, has been accurately tagged as an anti-Semite for some time now:

  • ‘Tucker Carlson is officially an antisemite’ (Jewish News Syndicate, April 14, 2024)

  • ‘The Arsonist: Tucker Carlson whitewashed [Hamas October 7] murderers to set fire to evangelical-Jewish relation’ (Tablet, April 11, 2024)

  • ‘Tucker Carlson Providing “Leading Platform” for Jew-Hatred, Says Israel’s Minister of Combating Antisemitism’ (The Algemeiner, December 17, 2024)

  • ‘Tucker Carlson: the most dangerous anti-Semite in American history’ (Jewish News Syndicate, December 3, 2025)

  • ‘StopAntisemitism names Tucker Carlson “Antisemite of the Year”’ (StopAntisemitism, December 21, 2025)

Here is a video of Mr. Carlson from December 26, 2025, attacking the Jewish state and its defenders: ‘Tucker Carlson: Israel Is Not An Ally, It's A Liability.’

For those who have an intercessory calling to pray for the sons and daughters of Jacob, the words of Isaiah 62:1,6-7 echo in our hearts:

  • “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet – until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning . . . On your walls, Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen. All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who profess YHVH, take no rest for yourselves – and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem an object of praise on the earth!”

Our prayers at this time for the Jewish people’s protection have specific relevance in light of these anti-Semitic conspiracies described above. The God of Jacob’s promise is also our guideline in intercession: “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed. And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of YHVH, and their vindication is from Me, declares YHVH” (Isaiah 54:17).

  • The scorning of God’s love for Jacob and the scoffing at His prophetic promises for the good of Zion – these are part of the last days mockers who follow after their own lusts, saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?”

Where are the promises of full national salvation for the Jewish people?

  • “A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from wrongdoing, declares YHVH. As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says YHVH: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring, says YHVH, from now and forever” (Isaiah 59:20-21)

  • “Behold, days are coming, declares YHVH, when I will make a new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. . . For this is the covenant which I will make with the House of Israel after those days, declares YHVH: I will put My teaching within them and write it on their heart. And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know YHVH,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, declares YHVH, for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember” (Jeremiah 31:31, 33-34)

  • “For I do not want you, brothers, to be uninformed of this mystery – so that you will not be wise in your own estimation – that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, just as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob . . . This is My covenant with them,
    when I take away their sins’” (    Romans 11:25-27)

Where are the promise of full restoration of the borders of the Promised Land?

  • “Hear the word of YHVH, you nations, and declare it in the coastlands far away, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and He will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.’ For YHVH has ransomed Jacob and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he” (Jeremiah 31:10-11).

  • “And I will bring Israel back to his pasture and he will graze on Carmel and Bashan, and his desire will be satisfied in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead. In those days and at that time, declares YHVH, search will be made for the wrongdoing of Israel, but there will be none; and for the sins of Judah, but they will not be found. For I will forgive those whom I leave as a remnant” (Jeremiah 50:19-20)

  • YHVH appeared to him long ago, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love! Therefore I have drawn you out with kindness. I will build you again and you will be rebuilt, Virgin of Israel! You will take up your tambourines again, and go out to the dances of the revelers. Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria. The planters will plant and will enjoy the fruit.
    For there will be a day when watchmen on the hills of Ephraim call out, ‘Arise, and let’s go up to Zion, to YHVH our God’” (    Jeremiah 31:3-6)

  • “Therefore this is what ADONAI YHVH says: ‘Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the House of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations. Then they will know that I am YHVH their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the House of Israel,” declares ADONAI YHVH ” (Ezekiel 39:25-29)

  • This is what YHVH says: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; For your work will be rewarded, declares YHVH, and they will return from the land of the enemy. There is hope for your future declares YHVH . . . Set up road marks for yourself! Place guideposts for yourself! Direct your mind to the highway, the way by which you went. Return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities!” (Jeremiah 31:16-17,21)
  • Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘This is what ADONAI YHVH says: “Behold, I am going to open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel” (Ezekiel 37:12)

  • “I will whistle for them and gather them together, for I have redeemed them. And they will be as numerous as they were before. When I scatter them among the peoples, they will remember Me in distant countries, and they with their children will live and come back. I will bring them back from the Land of Egypt and gather them from Assyria. And I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon until no room can be found for them” (Zechariah 10:8-10)
  • “So it will be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have placed before you, and you call them to mind in all the nations where YHVH your God has scattered you, and you return to YHVH your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul in accordance with everything that I am commanding you today, you and your sons, then YHVH your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where YHVH your God has scattered you. If any of your scattered countrymen are at the ends of the earth, from there YHVH your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. YHVH your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. And He will be good to you and make you more numerous than your fathers” (Deuteronomy 30:1-5)
  • “Then it will happen on that day that YHVH will again recover with His hand the second time the remnant of His people who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And He will lift up a flag for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth” (Isaiah 11:11-2)
  • “I will also plant them on their land, and they will not be uprooted again from their land Which I have given them, Says YHVH your God” (Amos 9:15)
  • “When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer” (Ezekiel 39:27-28)

Where is the promise of full restoration of the Davidic throne and dynasty in Jerusalem?

  • “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins, declares YHVH” (Isaiah 59:20)
  • “Behold, the days are coming, declares YHVH, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch. And He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will live securely. And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘YHVH Our Righteousness.’ (Jeremiah 23:5-6)

  • “On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south ... YHVH will be king over the whole earth!” (Zechariah 14:4,9)

  • And it will come about in the last days that the Mountain of the House of YHVH will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come and let’s go up to the Mountain of YHVH and to the House of the God of Jacob, so that He may teach us about His ways, and that we may walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the Teaching, and the word of YHVH from Jerusalem. And He will judge between many peoples and render decisions for mighty, distant nations. Then they will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks.
    Nation will not lift a sword against nation, and never again will they train for war” (    Micah 4:1-3)
  • “On that day I will raise up the fallen shelter of David, and wall up its gaps. I will also raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old – so that they may possess the remnant of Edom
    and all the nations who are called by My name, declares YHVH who does this” (    Amos 9:11-12)
  • Then Peter responded and said to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?” And Yeshua said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (Matthew 19:27-28)

Where is the promise of worldwide honor for the Jewish people and for their homeland?

  • “YHVH of armies says this: ‘In those days ten people from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you”’ (Zechariah 8:23)

  • “For I am YHVH your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you. Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honored and I love you, I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life” (Isaiah 43:3-4)
  • “He has done mighty deeds with His arm. He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones, and has exalted those who were humble. He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty-handed. He has given help to His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy, just as He spoke to our fathers – to Abraham and his descendants forever” (Luke 1:51-55)

  • “At that time I will bring you in, even at the time when I gather you together. Indeed, I will make you famous and praiseworthy among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says YHVH” (Zephaniah 3:2)

 

How shall we then pray?

  • Pray for repentance from anti-Semitism and from cold-heartedness to the Jewish people to sweep over this planet

  • Pray for the gift of repentance to open blind eyes of podcasters and media people who have become willing tools in the hands of an anti-Semitic spiritual enemy
  • Pray for revelation of God’s love for and calling on Israel to fill Jewish hearts

  • Pray for the entire people of Israel to seek and find salvation in Messiah Yeshua

  • Pray for the raising up of Ezekiel’s prophetic Jewish army throughout the earth!
